Handwoven Gotland Wool Mat
Our wool rugs are hand woven on a floor loom using a thick core spun rug yarn. In the spinning process, our Gotland wool is wrapped around an inner core which adds durability to the yarn. Three shades of gray Gotland are used in the spinning resulting in a stripped rug when woven. These small rugs have an accent color woven into them. The rug yarn is packed tightly during weaving, giving a dense squishy surface with a lovely texture. Each rug is bound at either end using a three ply Gotland yarn. These mat sized rugs are perfect for stepping out of the bath, in front of the kitchen sink or your favorite chair. No matter where they are, they will provide a soft warm landing for your feet.
