Handwoven Gotland Wool Pillows
There is nothing that speeds the process in the making of these pillows except patience. Each pillow front is handwoven using wool yarn from Kim’s flock of Gotland sheep. Six months of growing wool is followed by three months at the mill before Kim has the yarn in hand to weave with. They are the epitome of slow home decor which focuses on the process of the making rather than mass production. Each pillow is slightly different and shows the wide range of gray tones Gotland sheep are known for. The neutral color palette provides a calming aesthetic and complements almost any color scheme in your home. The pillow cover comes with a pillow insert. These pillows are hand sewn in Kim’s barn studio using hand woven fabric for the pillow front and upholstery fabric for the back. A zipper allows you to remove the pillow insert. They are a perfect calming accent for your bed, sofa, or favorite chair.
