I first met Cornelia when she came to our farm with a knitting tour group. She was their knitting teacher and we immediately hit it off. Cornelia lives in the US half the year and Sweden the remainder of the year. She was thrilled to see Gotland sheep on our farm as she herself used to be a shepherd in Sweden. I immediately felt a kindred spirit had stepped onto my farm.

Cornelia has been a familiar name in the handknitting world since the mid-80’s. With 14 pattern books to her name and her own yarn line featuring silk yarns, she is perhaps best known for her innovative work in the adventurous yarns by Noro. Cornelia’s original stitch patterns often feature holes, cables and textures.

Join us in knitting this lovely little cowl and have a little piece of Gotland in your wardrobe!
