These hand-felted rugs are crafted using Gotland wool, renowned for its lovely grey color, soft handle, and durability. Each rug is made by Kim in her barn studio in Vermont. Kim uses ancient Turkish wet felting techniques which require little water in the felting process. Each piece is a unique work of art, some with intricate inlay designs and others with interesting surface design textures. Kim is inspired by the simplicity of Swedish designs and her flock of Swedish Gotland seep.
The natural color palette of varying shades of grey complement any space and bring a sense of calm. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and lovely Gotland wool creates a rug that is both visually striking and incredibly durable, offering warmth and comfort while showcasing timeless artistry. Perfect for adding an artisanal touch to your home decor. All rugs should be placed on top of a non slip rug mat. They may be dry cleaned or spot cleaned.
