Gotland Wool Felted Tote Bag

This sweet one of a kind Gotland wool felted tote bag is hand felted using our own wool from our flock of Gotland sheep. The bag is wet felted using a resist and then the whimsical design is needle felted onto the bag. The bag is then lightly wet felted to secure the design in place, molded into shape and allowed to dry. Lastly, a leather shoulder strap is attached with screw posts. Start to finish, it takes about 5 hours to complete the bag.

The bag measures approximately 16 inches wide by 11 inches tall. It is quite roomy inside and perfect for your project or to take to market or to pack for a picnic. A large button and loop allow you to close the top of the bag.
