Gotland Wool Felted Tote Bag
This sweet one of a kind Gotland wool felted tote bag is hand felted using our own wool from our flock of Gotland sheep. The bag is wet felted using a resist and then the whimsical design of a bunny and spring flowers are needle felted onto the bag. The bag is then lightly wet felted to secure the design in place, molded into shape and allowed to dry. Lastly, leather handles are attached with with stitching. Start to finish, it takes about 5 hours to complete the bag. This tote is Vermont made, right here on our own farm.
The bag measures approximately 12 inches wide across the top of the bag and 8 inches across the bottom. It is 13 inches tall giving you plenty of room inside. The bag also has a felted pocket on the inside that is approximately 8 inches deep. It is perfect for your project or to take to market or to pack for a picnic.
